North collins is a great school district and the teachers allways know whats going on. They will help you when you need help and give you 1 on 1 attention if needed.
We love the small town atmosphere...everyone knows everyone. The teachers know the kids individually. Advanced courses are offered to provide a challenge to those who need it. The sports programs are expanding. Music and the arts are emphasized-our bands winning competitions for the last few years. There are plenty of clubs and extra activities for the kids to take part in and they are encouraged to. We are parents who like to stay informed and somewhat involved...not easy with teenagers, but our involvement is always welcomed by the school and is treated with an 'of course you would want to' attitude. Our kids love the school also and when we moved a couple of years ago requested that we stay in this district. Some things missing like football and a pool, but a small sacrifice for the return.
This is a very good school with three rules to follow. Our principal is a leader, and it definetly has character that shows in our children. The kids are never held back from their dreams.
