I love the small classes and warm and friendly staff. They are all very caring and truly show their love to our children. Our children have the best school!! The way my son speaks of his teacher, I feel like she is part of our family. Way to go Fayette!!!

Because of the caring, dedicated teachers and staff that make my children want to go to school every day!!

The teachers are wonderful, when they are not pulled out of the class. I am happy with the overall education that my children are receiving. Parents, at least one, should be more involved in the PTA so their children see that they are active in their lives. It builds a stronger foundation and relationship for their child's future involvement as they go through middle-school and high school.

I would highly recommend the Fayette School. Both my children have not only flourished but have been enriched academically and culturally. The emphasis on reading and writing is wonderful. Some problems I see are with parents who don't view the school/home connection as a partnership. Mr. Merims is a wonderful principal and is one of the hardest working professionals I ever met.

This school is really a pathetic excuse for a school. Many of the teachers are quite unprofessional, do not check homework and run out the door after the end of the school day before some parents even get their children in the car. The overall feel is that the school and district is more concerned about protecting themselves from liablility than educating the children. While the principal appears to be an intelligent, dedicated and hard working individual, he does not appear to have the repect of his staff.

Very poor teachers. Mr Merims has no idea how to run a school correctly.

This school is a failing school. It pushes children through the grades whether they pass or fail. The staff is incompetent and I would not recommed this school to anyone.

There are relatively small classes which is almost unheard of. Every teacher I have interacted with genuinely cares about the children and their individual needs. The principal, Mr. Howard Merims, is a wonderful example of devotion.
