This school was recently closed by the diocese of Rockville Center. It was a shortsighted and terrible decision. The school was an oasis among elementary schools. The kids weren't on Facebook, they didn't have cellphones, they were kind to each other, all the parents were on the same page and enrollment was up 20% over the last 3 years. The community and the catholic religion is now weaker than it was a year ago.

Sacred Heart is a wonderful school, it provides a loving and nurturing atmosphere for young children. My children love it. The parents and faculty are a close community that works together. Can't imagine my children in any other school.

I have been at Sacred Heart for 10 yrs. I feel my child experienced the best education both academicallyand spiritually. She has felt loved, secure and treated as an individual , not a number as you are in other schools in the area. I feel it was worth every penny.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
