The quality of great teaching, communication, and social activity with students and parents reaches above and beyond... When you enter Stanford Gibson Primary School you always get a friendly and personable greetings... The level of education my step daughter recieves in kindergarten is the begining of her excellence in further learning. The teaching skills are so advanced, when the children reach the next level of education they are well prepared... The school also never leaves parents in the dark, the parents much like the children are very much involved through out the school year... Stanford Gibson is more than just a school...It's a community of parents teachers and children growing together to reach excellence... Thank you, Mr M.D. Fucci Jr...

having to relocate to another school district, prior to moving to norwich from long island was a fear of the difference in learning for my child who is in kindergarten. it was amazing how fast my fear became relieved when transfering my daughter to stanford gibson school. the welcoming feelings and the personal relationship between parent , teacher, and my child reassured I made the right decision in enrolling my daughter here. within the short amount of time my daughter has made incredible gains in her learning of reading , math, social surriundings, independent living skills, and most of all increased her self esteem level. therefore, because of the communication and family involvement, I applaud the teachers and the assistants for a job well done.

My daughter entered PreK super shy. Two months later she was participating in everything within the classroom. By the end of the year she was counting over 100, reading at a mid kidnergarten level, doing some addition and subtraction and asking to learn Spanish. I am so thankful her teacher was willing to help her advance and not hold her back. I look forward to her continuing her education at SJG elementary.

Stanford J. Gibson Primary School is a great school for the young kids. Their academic programs are great, not a lot of extracurricular activities for the kids or sports. Music is limited or not at all.

I was very pleasantly surprised with this school. The children are placed in a group of K-2nd graders, so if they are struggline in some areas but excelling in others, those needs are met. My son has some emotional issues and they were willing to help and talk with me on ways to help my son do well in school.

This school surprised me. I was told when my child started kindergarten that there would not be homework until fourth grade. Even with the principal saying that, we had homework the entire kindergarten school year. It was very stressful for my child. Too much stress for being in kindergarten. This year is 1st grade, we still have alot of homework, but now I am limiting how much time we spend on it, so now it's about an hour a day, and if we can't finish it all we do it the next day. I am very unhappy with our experience at this school. I am considering sending him elsewhere.

Oops! We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Public and charter school test scores for most states come from the state Department of Education. The most common reasons we might not have this data are either that not enough students took the test or that the school was recently opened, and its scores have not yet been reported.
