The one Teacher in particular, Mrs. Cortez, 3rd grade, gets 5 stars. She cares deeply about each child that is in her room. She goes beyond what a parent would expect from a Teacher, attentive, involved, passionate, dedicated. The principal was always on top of any bullying that went on, and was able to really put a stop to it. The bullying didn't start again with any other children. The teacher's are open to listening to any concerns you have, and seem to really care. We miss this school.
My kids love Washington West! Great school, great Principal, teachers, staff...no complaints whatsoever!
I like the way the staf helps the kids be successful and really has gone above and beyond to prepare the kids for middle school.
