Ellicott Road Elementary School

A terrible district if you have a child with Learning Disabilities. They tend to ship the kids out of distict rather than keep them in district. My child has been in 3 schools in 4 years.

Ellicott is a wonderful school. The administration has always been very helpful and accommodating. I believe there is a sense of community and the teachers have been excellent. Both of my children love going to school each day and look forward to their activities the classroom teachers have planned. My husband and I believe we have made a great choice in sending our children to Ellicott.

Overall a good experience for our child. Mr Spicola is very attentive, has the teachers motivated, and pays attention to the details. He is a great leader. I think the leadership qualities that he exhibits helps to keep the staff focused and motivated.

This a wonderful school with energetic and enthusiastic teachers. The curriculum is excellent and there are many extracurricula activities for the students.

Our oldest child is in the 5th grade. We have had great, caring teachers who give their best everday. There are may opportunities for extracurriucular activities and enrichment! The administrational leadership is shaky. It is not very consistent. The PTO is very active but includes only moms who do not work. All meetings are during the day and excludes those who work. Overall, we love our school thanks to the hard wroking teachers and other staff members.
