The general education program is great and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this school for a child who doesn't have any learning difficulities. The special education program at Eggert Elementary needs some work. The team does not work together effectively to provide an appropriate learning environment for special needs children.

i grew up in private schools and was very skeptical of public ones. my child attended a prominent private orchard park school but it reached a point where her needs weren't met any longer. with a big hesitation and skepticism i transferred her to Eggert. it greatly exceeded my expectations. my daughter had no trouble adjusting and making friends from day 1. teachers and staff work tirelessly to meet every child's challenges. the principal mrs. krueger is very approachable and friendly. the music and art programs are excellent. endless clubs and activities to cater to each student's interest. needless to say that academically it has been consistently ranked among the top 5 elem. schools in western NY and for a reason. despite the school being large it still feels like a family. my only regret is not having started my daughter earlier at eggert. it's a great school with huge resources.

It is a great school, very well organized on everything they do, from academics to other activities during and after school hours. The staff is very educated, friendly and professional. It is ranked #3 in Western New York and very well deserved. I am proud to say my daughter attends this elementary school.

Would not trade the quality of education for anything. The family environment is amazing. The whole school is one big family.

Eggert Road is an excellent experience in elementary education. The Principal has instituted discipline and respect throughout the school. Children know they are loved by the teachers ans staff. Parents are always welcome in the building and in the classrooms.
