An earlier review stated that the 'sports are limited compared to public schools' I don't see that at all. Natvity fileds sports like basketball, baseball, volleyball, soccer and track and field. The basketball program is one of the best in the area and would rival any public school in Orchard Park.

Nativity is a wonderful school, the bus situation mentioned in the other rating has been fixed. The children are bus directly to the school. The best education available in Orchard Park! The education at Nativity is outstanding and the children are well prepared to enter high school.

Parent involvement keeps this school running financially. The PTO is very active in fundraising. Music, art and sports are limited compared to the area public schools. Technology is limited. The school is small which is nice for children who might get 'lost between the cracks' in a larger setting. Busing is strange for some kids; they have to get off at the public middle school, which is two blocks away and board another bus to get to school, and to be transported home. The school does not seem to publicly reveal their NYS assessment scores.

My daughter has been attending Nativity School for 3 years. I have been thrilled with the quality of education as well as the caliber of staff. The school encourages very hard work and inspires high ethics and morals. My daughter is learning things in second grade that I learned in Junior High School. I am very impressed by the amount of parent involvement. The prinicpal and staff are very supportive of the Home School Association which organizes events such as ice cream socials, talent shows, Halloween parties, sports nights, etc. For being a small school, they have a lot of extra curricular activities available. The coaches are very involved. It is a great traditional school that still has Christmas concerts and special masses. I highly recommend Nativity to other parents that want their child to have an excellent education and learn to be independent, respectable, responsible individuals.
