Otisville Elementary School

I love Otisville Elementary School. My son loves it too. The teachers and staff are awesome. It has a real 'family' feel, people get to know you. Schools are only as good as the community and parents make it. The community and parents have a great partnership with the kind, thoughtful educators at Otisville. If your lucky, your kids can go to school here but step up and be PART of it! it is the only way to KEEP it special!

I have two children in Otisville Elementary, both who are very strong students. Both have been fortunate to have had both strong and compassionate teachers thus far who have been great with keeping the lines of communication open and letting parents know what is going on in their particular classroom. One area that we find lacking is any kind of enrichment activities for those students who easily master the curriculum and need to be further challenged. There are no programs to address the needs of these students. There is also a need to have better outreach to parents through the use of the District's web-pages by posting more information on student/building activities, particularly in the areas of Music and Art. It is a beautiful new building! We would love to see way more student work displayed throughout the school, and also posted on the web-sites for parents.

Otisville Elementary School is an outstanding school. They have exceeded my family s expectations. My daughter loves the new school. I highly recommend this school to any parent(s) that believe in giving their child a great education. They also have activities at the school that saves time, energy, and gas from taking your child (or children) from place to place. This is by far one of the best schools in New York. Thank you Otisville and keep up the excellent work.
