Great school. The school really listens to the parents and students on how to make the school a better place.

My family has been pleased with the Catholic School education and environment. There is no perfect school and if one is looking for it, they will not find it. St. Dominic offers a rigorous academic program as well as an enriching environment that includes clubs/activities and sports. For a small school, it is nice to see something for everyone. Negative comments about administration should be ignored, because the heart of the school really is the students/teachers/parents. You can't have a successful environment without rules, and if you are looking for a place without rules, then this school isn't for you. St. Dominic teaches the whole student, including the moral character of the student. That's why we are here.

St Dom's hosts many fundraisers for charity including Holiday parties for disadvantaged children, Autism, feeding the homeless ( Midnight Runs ). Students are encouraged to give back and the vast majority gladly participate.

The Administration is headed by someone with a Doctorate in Education who is a devoted and hardworking individual. She instills all the Catholic principles in everything they do.

I don't understand these negative comments at all. The school is amazing, has never been better and has improved tremendously, both academically and in sports competition. Since the Administration changed several years ago, it has gained a well deserved reputation for integrity, focus and study. Richard Garrett's departure from this school certainly has added to it's success, not the opposite. He never was in charge of the school and was the Director of Admissions and the baseball coach. Clearly, enrollment is up which supports St Dom's growing position as a quality institution. Two of my children are proud graduates with the third currently attending. I would wholly recommend St Dom's to anyone seeking a quality education for their child !!

School totally sucks! Being with a such a small student body a large group of your class is the "popular kids"(the ones who do the wrong things) and if you aren't in the clique you aren't accepted. Administration is oblivious to the things that go on in st doms. Teachers do not teach and it doesn't matter if they know you better if they don't teach. St doms is just like an ugly girl with a make up that makes her pretty, the school is great on the outside but horrible on the inside. Also the athletic programs are rigged, the kids who pay the most make the team. Worst decision of my life to ever go to this school.

St.Dominic High School is a truly great college prep school. Students start and end the day in prayer, and are totally prepared for college. They are taught to compose college essays in their freshman year. The 2010 graduating class went on to the finest of Universities. The teacher student teacher ratio can not be compared with. Though very expensive, well worth the quality of education and technology in the classroom.

Did the full 4 years and graduated. I was an easy B to A student and I was not even close to be prepared for college. Yes the staff knows you personally, that doesn't mean they prepare you well.

Left 1 month into Soph year. Disasterous, devastating and a dream turned into a nightmare. Why? Bullying, teasing, name calling in halls and do-nothing administration. Spoiled, entitled kids who 'wannabe' tough. Every parent should do much research before. Sophomore year-miserable.

St. Dominic High School is an outstanding school. All the teachers know you at a personal level and they're always willing to help you. The atletic program is great becuase everyone gets a chance to play a sport. I love SDHS because I know that they're preparing me well for college.

Saint Dominic is a small High School that offered a very friendly and personal education to my son. While there he developed a strong sense of self worth and accomplishment I have to say he also grew to love history because of his teachers there
