Teachers are Second to none!!!! I have had two children attend Medford Ave and one just going in. The District has just changed the Administration and they have gotten rid of the Principal that everyone is complaining about. The PTA is Great and parents are very involved. The school provides a great service to the community.
My children have had good teacheers with the exception of maybe two. The school is ok, if your child is a willing learner. The principal on the other hand leaves alot to be desired.
So unhappy with the quality of the education my child has received at this school. The curriculm is not challenging enough and teachers must focus so much attention on students with special needs that other children get ignored. My child will not be returning next year!
The PTA members are very warm and caring to all and are a true asset to our school.
My first child had entered into Kindergarten this year. My first experience with schools has become Horrible because of Medford Elementary. This school is not warm and welcoming. Parents are Not allowed into the school, only up to the sign in desk. If a parent needed to carry a big project in for their child, they are not allowed past the sign in desk.
The teachers are wonderful. Parent involvement is great. My only complaint is this school need a new Principal(ASAP).
The teachers are wonderful and the parent involvement is good, but the Principal is another story.
I took my child out of Catholic school this year and he now attends Medford Elementry. This school has so much more to offer than the Catholic school. He is so happy and doing so well and the teachers are wonderful!
parent involvement is encouraged and the principal of this school is amazing. He promotes an atmosphere of fun, encouragement and understanding!
Principal Gamberg is wonderful. He spends time with his students and places enormous importance on reading. My son is in kindergarten and knows the principals name. He comes into the classrooms and reads to the students.
