there is a possibility of a lot of parent involvement with many pya meetings and resourses. There is much bilingual (spanish)information for parents. For certain classes they have music (recorder) and concert singing for holiday. Academis programs are available. It is not as strong as local parocial school. Much of the learning is expected to me done for homeworek.. Less class learning is done. Also as a result of a smaller buddget, student work out of composton books instead of a write in notebook. This make it harder for students and parents to follow along with the days classroom learning. In a small city, polotical voting is stron. And information to resources and votes conducted often. Many snow days as a result of living in a snowwy district. Affordable atercare program which also inclusdes district children from the parochial school. The aftershcool mprogram is fun for kids but not very structured.

I think that this school has a lot of potential. There seems to be a very caring attitude among the teachers and I have very high regards for Mr. Uretta. I question the authenticity of the principal, since he is only an interim principal I feel that this affects his ability. He has openly stated that science and social studies are not heavily emphasized since reading and math are most important. When questioned regarding the math curriculum he freely stated that there really isn't one and that the teachers are simply going through the book. That is a ridiculous method. The school is also lacking in any sort of enrichment programs for students.
