I am so pleased with St. Louis School for my children. I have been there for eleven years and have had children attend every grade in the school. The St Louis students leave the school after sixth grade with solid study skills and work ethic and are well prepared for middle school. Additionally, the culture is one of respect for others, self discipline and service to the community. There is very strong parent support for the school and a dedicated teaching staff. I have had children in public school as well, and can say with confidence, there is definitely a difference in this smaller, faith based educational institution.

I have a 8-year-old at a Pittsford school and a 5-year-old at Saint Louis, kindergarten, full-time. Had I known about Saint Louis before I came over from Europe, both my children would have been there! I find this school better than the Pittsford school we are with. Besides being smaller and having a bit less resources, they have a very up-to-date curriculum, teach excellent social skills, have a very good buddy system(which is wonderful to help young and also new pupils to integrate as well as teaching responsiblity and loving care to the older ones), gym, library, and even a lovely Spanish club plus music lessons. Who cares about not having a canteen? Have you ever analysed the Pittsford Schools lunch menu???
