absolutely a wonderful experience for all of my children. The center is a warm, kind and caring school.

I found the K-Center to be a wonderful teaching enviornment for my child. Her teacher couldn't have been better. My only grievences with it is they don't allow mom's with younger children to be a part of much of their older childrens school experience because they cannot help. The other is the school nurse does not allow you to talk to your child if she calls you regarding your sick child.

POB prides themselves in providing the best programs for students. The K-Center provides Sign Language, Library, Music, Art, Gym in addition to classroom study. Teachers promote reading and parent participation.

This center was one of the first to offer a full-day kindergarten program in Long Island. There are separate classrooms for art, music, library, sign language, and gym which the kids visit on their assigned day. Parent involvement is high as any parent-child event or program offered by the school is mobbed. My wife is a class mom and has joined the class for several events. PTA events are plentiful although not always meaningful (i.e. more an opportunity to socialize than improve education). Part of the success of the program is parent reinforcement of school assignments and homework.
