Too many politics play part in this school to the point where it inhibits students from learning. The camaraderie and overall school spirit was at an all time low when I attended (2007 grad). The sports programs are ill funded and there is little pride or enthusiasm from a majority of the athletes and it is mostly due to the poor coaching (girls varsity basketball for example). School enrollment has dipped from 1200 total (k-12) to around 800 in just the past 7 years for a reason. Would not recommend sending a child to Port Byron.
I have to say how much I have loved my child being in this school district. The teachers and staff care so much about the children and their success. This school succeeds in all aspects and works with the parents to achieve greatness for these children.
i think our school is great , they take time w/ our kids, great great.
