Horrible. Mrs. Bender a really mean teacher by my daughter and her friends. There is only 2 teachers that I heard were actually nice!

John F. Kennedy Middle School has had significant improvements over the recent years. They have added a new track and football field along with new tennis courts. This is a school that strongly encourages student participation in after school activities, whether it be sports or clubs. The classrooms are an average size as the student body is not significantly large. This allows the teachers to get to know each student on a more personal level and assist them more easily.

JFK Middle School has done wonders for my granddaughter. We moved to the suburbs from the city and she has just flourished! She is an honor roll student who is engaged in multiple extra-curricular activities, both academic and sports. She not only enjoys her teachers but respects them, and her fellow students, as well. The administrative staff does their utmost to elevate the level of education available and to keep the students well-grounded and mindful of appropriate behavior. They make time for parents and students alike. It is understandable, then, that the high school, which is fed solely from this middle school, was rated by Newsweek in the top 5% of all high schools in the country.

This is one of the worst Jr. High's on Long Island. I am looking to move out of the district. The principle does not have the best interest for the children. Once a great school had gone down to the pits. I have four kids in the district but not for long!

I am a student at John F. Kennedy, and when I first came to the building, the teachers seemed nice. I have grown academically, and I am currently a regular honor roll student. The education I have received so far is wonderful, and I actually enjoy school. Extracurricular activities are no problem. They'll be a club for your interest! Parents are involved, and the teachers really make sure to give you a strong education.
