This was our 1st year at Vincent Smith and I could not be happier. My son was stuggling just to keep up and it was a emotional/mental strain on our family. We came from another nonsecular private school where we were very happy but the workload became harder for him as he got into the high school. Now he feels succesful, there is no more fighting about homework and there is peace at home. And I am proud to say that he has made "Honor Roll" every semester. The child didn't even know what an Honor Roll was!

My son is now in his third year of college, after attending Vincent Smith School middle and high school. The help and support that the administration gave to me and my family when choosing a school was so wonderful that we were able to not only find the right fit for my son but also get a small scholarship. Also in college the academic, organizational skills and study skills he learned at VSS keeps his grades in the B range. Dollar for dollar VSS was the best investment in my son's future we could ever have made.

I think this school is great in the lower and middle grades for building self esteem and teaching kids in a supportive manner. However, the school boasts a large percentage of students attending college. I do not think that the High Schoo prepares students for the the demands of college
