Want to improve this school’s profile? You can!

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.

SSSQ has given my children a stellar secular education, plus a love of Judaism and Israel. As an additional bonus, they are now fluent in Hebrew! SSSQ is going through some big changes, with a new forward-thinking head of school. The sky is the limit!

I tell a bedtime story to my daughters called 'The Monkey and The Bear.' The Monkey attends SSSQ, while Bear is only 2 and is learning about the school from his pal, Monkey. It starts out by Monkey saying he spent time with his friends today at SSSQ. Bear then asks, 'SSS-Who?' Monkey responds, 'SSSQ!!' The great thing about it is that Monkey always has sooooo much material to work with because he recaps the super stuff he did with my daughters throughout the rigorous day -- from rehearsing Hebrew songs for a play to practicing math skills during 3-minute lightning quizzes to earning a special book to read in Book Club to touring Alley Pond Park to recounting funny sayings by friends during lunch to dancing to rock songs during gym. My daughters always end up laughing just before they fall asleep, and looking forward to another new and exciting tomorrow at SSSQ.

This is a very caring school that wants to make sure every student succeeds. I have had three sons go through this rigorous and challenging dual cirriculum. The teachers make themselves available both before and after school so that the students always have someone to discuss things with. The administration is first class. The headmaster has a sure but fair hand on all aspects of the school and is involved in all activities. the sports program is terrific; the championship banners fly from the gym walls. y youngest son has been with his baseball team since first grade (now in eighth) and it led to great comaraderie. The facilities are excellent and fosters an atmosphere of learning and security. A great school!
