Irondequoit High School

Beautiful School. Clean, great staff, lots of sports and opprotunities. The teachers are fantastic and it's a pleasure coming to school everyday

I graduated from Irondequoit HightSchool, as did both my children. I moved back to Rochester/Irondequoit from Northern California because I wanted my kids to grow up in an awesome family oriented environment with great schools and lots of recreational opportunities. My son graduated from Brockport and is now the Owner of several businesses and my daughter is a sophomore at SUNY Cortland. IHS prepared them well for their futures.

I think West Irondequoit High School is a pretty good school. You can make friends fast. The teachers don't allow bullying or such to happen and no one really does it. Over all you can say its one of the best high schools in Rochester

I graduated from IHS in 2003 and still go back to visit. I agree with the other review- I went to a private university with high standards after IHS (having gotten into every college I applied to thanks to my high school education) and thought 'this is it?' as well. The school and the neighborhood is actually so excellent, I have purchased a home in West Irondequoit so my own daughter can get the have the same incredible educational experience.

West Irondequoit High School is great school. They have a great reputation and are supportive of their students.
