I have two children in the school. They both have had a great experience at Listwood. The teachers are caring and respectful. They work hard with the children to tech the curriculum in a fun way. My daughter fell behind and the staff was wonderful to her and helped her to get to grade level. Now she is above grade level.

It was a super start for our sons - small enough that everyone knew each other and the staff was excellent. They take an interest in the children that attend there and make sure that they are treated with love and respect, They really care that the children learn and grow to their greatest potential.

I absoultely love Listwood. The teachers, staff and principle are amazingly dedicated to the students. My daughter is in her 3rd year at listwood and is excelling in academics. My kindergartner loves going to school every day. The school is always holding family events and so many families participate in all the activites. I love the involvment inside and outside of the classrooms. I have nothing but wonderful thoughts about Listwood.

About the tests

In 2011-2012 New York used the New York State Assessments to test students in grades 3 through 8 in English language arts and math, and in grades 4 and 8 in science. The results for English language arts and math are displayed on GreatSchools profiles and the science results will be added when they are released in the Fall of 2013. The tests are standards-based, which means they measure how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of New York. The goal is for 90% of students to meet or exceed grade-level standards on the tests.
