School #30 is working hard at making learning & parent involvemnet go hand in hand. The students decorated 'Cougar' as part of The ESL Animal Scramble. There is a 4-H Club for K-3 students & parents. We are collecting Box Tops for Education to raise money for the school as well. There is a partnership with local organizations such as Cameron Community Ministries. Channel 13 along with Raymour & Flanigan are donating books from public donations in Sept.2004. Family & friends come in June to celebrate Kindergarten Celebration. Also, School #30 celebrates General Otis Day in June. There are nights for other family support times throughout the school year sponsored by the PTA. We are a community of learners striving to make the world better. Students are encouraged to read books and are read to by the Principal with the Book of the Month throughout the school.
