Wonderful school that keeps traditional moral values and teaches them with each student. Doesn't tolerate bad behavior or students that slack. Wonderful academics and has a perfect graduation rate. I hear it is one of the top schools nation wide! College preparatory and they give each student their own laptop!

My daughter loves the advanced placement classes as well as the wonderful cheerleading and school spirit. I like the values, the lack of cliques and the uniforms.

For a Catholic School, we found the students to be very unaccepting. Where is the christianity? Certainly not what we want for our children. We have since transferred.

My duaghter graduated from BK, I was NOT IMPRESSED at all with college prep. Couselors did very little to assist the students and had a lack of information regarding college entrance, scholorships available etc. My son now attends BK there are new couselors which appear to be a bit more knowledgeable and personable. The money Galisano donated was not well spent on advancing curriculum and athletics. Although some teachers are great and enjoy working with children you can easily identify the teachers who NEED TO LEAVE. If I had to do it all over again I would NOT send my children to BK. The cost of education is outrageous considering the limited academics. Students can gain a broader more diversed and well rounded education at a public school. BK prides itelf with a dress code for students, teachers need to be informed to dress to the same standards!

party school. horrible teachers. out of date curriculum. the new technology put up a barrier between teachers and students and all the students do is fool around with their laptops.

Bishop Kearney instills values into the minds of its students and its' atmosphere allows students to reach for more than they imagined before. The atmosphere is relaxed at times, but not overly so provided that there are still slackers in the school, that can be found at any high school though. Bishop Kearney feels more like a family than anything else and that is the true reward.

I graduated from BK several years ago. At the time, I found the curriculum less than satisfactory. Upon entering college (which there was not much guidance for), I found that I had to re-teach myself in many core areas. While there are, or at least were some great teachers at BK, there was a huge lack of college-preparatory focus. Even now with Tom Golisano on board, it seems like the focus has shifted from religion and sub-par educational standards to making more money. I would not send my children to this school.

I am a current parent at Bishop Kearney, and I am very impressed with it. My daughter graduated from Siena and wanted to go here, but I didn't want her to because of the SAT scores. But I am very happy that she convinced me otherwise! The staff is very knowledgeable and open, and the academics are very impressive, although the English curriculum is being worked on. The technology is spectacular, and the students here are very friendly, sweet, and spirited. Overall, Bishop Kearney is a very impressive school.
