Excellent school, outstanding principal and teachers, all very dedicated. Challenging curriculum. Islamic education coupled with Elementary school curriculum. Must enroll your children if you want what is best for their Dunya and ahirah

A wonderful elementary school right beside the Islamic Center of Rochester. Your kids would love the environment. You won't disappoint.

This is a small private school located inside the Islamic Center of Rochester in Brighton, NY. It offers pre-K through 3rd grade and plans expand to 5th grade in two years. The classes are small but the teachers are fairly experienced and extremely attentive to the students and parents. The small classes offer plenty of room for student creativity and one-on-one interaction. Islamic studies and Arabic are also taught. Parents are strongly encouraged to volunteer to help out with day-to-day school operations, and several have taken the opportunity to offer their services as part-time teacher aides. Funding, as with most new private schools, needs to increase, and it is hoped that this will happen through increased enrollment over the next several years. Space is also an issue, and a building expansion project currently underway will need to be completed in order to handle the expected growth over the next several years.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
