Mixed bag. The music program under Dina Alexander is OUTSTANDING but the Principal doesn't support it and seeks to dumb down the program to match the rest of the mediocrity found throughout Greece schools. The discipline and encouragement the kids in the music program receive improves behavior and academic achievement. To downplay and discourage this statewide award winning program speaks volumes of the lengths this Principal will go to provide mediocrity to all.

I am a parent of a child with ADD. The support from the staff at Buckman Heights has been phenomenal. My son is currently in fifth grade and is in a classroom where support teachers pop in on a regular basis. He has shown drastic improvements in his learning and is also being shown how to 'cope' with his special difference. The teaching staff encourage as much parent involvement as is possible so you feel that you have a more hands on experience in your childs education. Will be sad when my son leaves to go on to Jr. High. Thankyou to all the staff for all of your extra efforts you really go above and beyond for your students.
