My grandchildren attended Rome Catholic School for 4 years. This year they began school at John Joy. The first thing I observed was the totally unprofessional dress of the teachers. The majority dress daily in blue jeans. Granted, the education is of the utmost importance, but what happened to the 'setting a good example?' Jeans are not for work. Apparently Rome Catholic has a dress code. In four years I never saw a teacher in blue jeans; only professional looking and caring people. After three months, there is still chaos with the children getting on buses, and parents being reunited with their children after school. (John Joy) Also, there was no Christmas program at John Joy. What's the story? This school educates through grade 4. I'm in high hopes of my grandchildren returning to Rome Catholic to finish their education, despite the high cost.
