Hardworking principal, dedicated staff and involved parents. 99% uniform rate , boys/girls empowerment program with enrichment programs to come. Academic success and cultural pride are big here and Centennial is well on its way to becoming a transformational school. Go Eagles!

Awesome principal! Great staff. We need more parent involvement. We have to realize that we are our childrens biggest role models, not their friends. We have to find time for them.

The principal does try hard; however, I am still disappointed with the lack of extra-curricular activities. I would like to see more sports, language and music options available to the children and earlier than November or December. It takes too long to get the afterschool programs started and the way the programs afterschool are run can be frustrating because they are not well staffed.

The new principal is amazing. She is trying her best to unify the school and the parents. She was fomerly the principal of the top school in Roosevelt and I think she will eventually turn Centennial into the best school too. The parents need to get involved more. The other principal did not work hard to involve them so it may take some time for them to realize how important it is to have community involved in the children's lives.

The teacher are wonderful. The parents are active and they have a great PTA. They have just built a new school and moving in September 2005. Despite what is usually told the kids receive a great education!
