My children grandchilden/other family members attend this scool. From my experience since Ms. Bailey has been principal it is more structured and the discipline and learnng is on point. There is a Parent Coordnator there named Ms. Harris who keeps the parents involved and is a hands on type of person. My grandkids talk of her as if she was a family member. She is always working with us and many others that I see her helping. She works along with the principal to keep the school running. I thought she was the assistant principal. Keep up the good work Ms. Bailey and Ms. Harris you two make the best team

My girls are happy at PS 195, William Haberle School. I m pleased that the school communicates with the parent(s) when children misbehave. I find discipline is consistent and is enforced based on the behavior, and the agreement between parent and school. I strongly believe that because of this type of open communication the parent is able to also work with the child at home to help correct the delinquent behavior. Curricular and extracurricular activities at the school encourage not only the children, but parents as well, to want to become involved. I don t believe I have missed an event, yet. There is this warm homey feeling. Everyone is pleasant and kind. Security officers are super helpful. I cannot think of a nicer environment for children, than PS 195 William Haberle. Thanks to the many teachers and employees who make this wonderful environment available for our children. Thank you! Claudia Shim

I have 3 children my 2 oldest attended this school and have done very well, my oldest is now a sophmore in hs and my child in the 4th grade. I have found over the years that the teachers are really dedicated to teaching the children. It is a very good school with caring staff.

My review of this school on a scale of 1-10 is 8. There were a few mishaps but general the staffs are friendly and helpful and you feel the one on one closeness. My child has been at this school since pre-K, now in grade 1 and I've never come across a friendlier, caring, understanding and wants to see my child succeeds set of staff. However, the principal could be a little friendlier and say hello to parents from time to time whenever she walks the hallways.

My son just started to attend Kindergarten this September. From the looks of thing I like what I've seen so far. The students wear uniforms & seen to well rounded. The staff and teachers that I've talked to have been helpful. The Principal need to be a little more friendly and not so rigid. Let's hope for the best because my son education is the most important thing to me.

My first real experience was this year. I think my kids had a great year. There were a few mishaps this year but overall, I think the principal Mrs Bailey is doing a great job. I have seen so much improvement with her at the helm. There is so much activities and after school programs that the kids can get involve in. Makes me wish the kids would be able to go on to twelve grade in this school, unfortunately it stops at sixth grade. My son graduated this pass monday and his overal experience was a great one. I hope Mrs Baily will be able to continue to be the principal of this school.
