I recently enrolled my son at Mona Prep and I must say that I am impressed in everyway shape or form. My only regret is that I did not take the initiative to enroll him earlier. The school environment that he attended prior to Mona was excellent but academically, he was not challenged or encouraged beyond his comfort zone. The teachers have been patient with him as he attempts to gain equal footage with the other students. I am west indian and the morals and values that I grew up with as law are implemented at this school.

My son is two and he loves the school. The teachers for the 2yr old (Ms. Teresa and Ms. Jean) are so loving with the kids. They take care of them! My son learns something new every day, and nothing bad. I am so happy that I put him at Mona's and not St.Clares.

I must say my three year old daughter has been attending mona prep since she was two an i would tell the world about this school. The teachers work with the parents and principles that they teach my child are the same that myself and my husband are teaching her at home. Mona prep is a great school and when ur child leaves there they leave with alot.

I find this school and the other part of it very frustrating. Many incidents have happened and I don't like the way things are runned.

have been privileged to find a great family day care/school for both of my children (ages 2 and 4) that really focus on learning rather than all-day playing. Mona Prep promotes cultural diversity and instills the discipline and confidence necessary for your child s success. Homework is assigned on a daily basis and uniform is worn from Monday through Thursday. By the age of 5 (in pre-K), your child will be able to read. Most children who leave Mona Prep go directly into 2nd grade or get placed in a gifted program. Mona Prep also encourages the participation of parents in school functions and fundraising to keep their fees low. One last observation is that the children at Mona Prep are well-loved and cared for. My 3 year old attends mona prep, i must say i absolutely love the school. My situation might be different from others. My daughter was never in daycare. Up until she reached the age of 3 she stayed with her grandmother during the day. I started her in july so she could adapt before september and i must say that the school made it very easy for her to transition. Ms Peart was her first teacher and she was wonderful. I am a Caribbean parent and i feel very comfortable knowing that principles that i am raising my daughter at home are being practiced at school.

Teachers are very good at school. The management staff is poor and unorganized. Parents assist in the supervision of the children.

Mona Prep is a wonderful place for a child to begin. My son has learned to write, spell, speak properly, manner, how to socialize with others, how to be neat and many other things. My input is appreciated, parent are always involved in the school. The children are always supervised, they go on trips and are taken outside to play when the weather is nice. Mona prep is exceptional. I only hope to find a school that is as good when my son graduates.
