i curently go to the school and think that hoosic valley is a very nice and small school, but if somthing happens to someone then everyone is hurt. But otherwise its a great, quiet, and small school. we just need newer books :)
Hoosic Valley is a nice small school where kids can know everyone in it. There is a definite feeling of community both in and out of the school. The sports teams are great and signs throughout the village attest to this. Parental involvement is almost 100 % volunteerism at the elementary level and this continues at the higher levels. A school whose only shortcoing may be the school board and in recent times the administration.
First of all i am not a parent but a student. Hoosic Valley is a very nice school if you enjoy a small home town experience. The teachers are for the most part really good and attempt to diversify their teaching techniques as often as possible. The extra curricular activities are adequate also. Some of the shortcomings would be the fact that it is such a small school with approximatly 700 kids in grades 7-12 and the board of education.
