As a 1964 graduate, I give credit to this school system for providing me with the knowledge that I needed to be successful and productive in my life.. The heritage and quality of alumni supports even today that there is no better school of its size and accomplishment in New York State. 48 years later and I am stll iproud to be an alumni of Sherman High School.

As a former student, I personally feel that I couldn't ask for a better learning environment. I just wish there were more small schools around where students can get the attention they need and deserve.

Luckily, the principal who was so rude is gone! And, you are right about the teachers. They are tops in the area, care for their students, and have high expectations. Unfortunately, there are too few parents who show support for the school or are involved with their children. You are lucky to have a school where the teachers step up and make up the slack!

Great school! I graduated from there 5 years ago. (2000) The teachers are all great people for the most part. Most of them even tend to be your next door neighbor.
