I love this school!! I have a son who is in 4th grade who has had wonderful teachers!! They have Computers, and the text books are in great shape and all of the years my child has been in school he was never without what he needed. Kuddos also to the Admin. in helping me get my youngest the help he needs due to his special style of learning! They were happy to help me out by getting him transfered to BOCES. This is a wonderful school.... We moved From Wantage NJ to Slate Hill, NY so my sons could attend Minisink Valley. From the beginning when my oldest had Major Speech Delay MV got us into early intervention. After 2 years my son started Kindergarten at MV on time and had great Speech Therapy Teachers!! Overall a wonderful school I recommend highly!

I found my daughter's teachers to be caring, dynamic, and disciplined. In today's schools, test scores are important. The teachers somehow managed to make my child laugh and learn despite the tests. She scored well, by the way. Minisink's kids keep coming back to live in the area in which they grew up. That speaks volumes!

I have been sadly disappointed with my child's experiences in the intermediate school. His classroom teacher has been wonderful, but I am upset by the lack of educational leadership in the school. My child does not have proper books for all his subject areas and the school seems so focused on test results that little else seems to matter. The school does not live up to the hype!
