I am the parent of a recent graduate who could not be more pleased with all that Kennedy Catholic my daughter. One of the great things I valued was that the students are held accountable - to adhere to the school's high code of conduct; to complete all homework and projects by the deadline - or suffer the consequences. Great preparation for college and life. Teachers were fully engaged and available if a student needed extra help. A balanced environment - in every sense. I feel my tuition dollars were well spent and would make the same choice today. A great school.

I am a parent with a freshman boy and a sophmore girl and I couldn't be any happier with our principal, teacher quality, sports programs and with the catholic environment both of my children are surrounded by. Kennedy Catholic is everything a high school should be!

I needed a fresh start, after a not so stellar 8th grade year. I am happy that I was accepted to Kennedy in August 2002. The school is small, so you have the opportunity to know your classmates and your teachers. I switched to Kennedy for social reasons, but stayed because of the administration, teachers, and great friends I made. Great school if you were failed by the public school.

So far I am happy with this school. It was an alternative to the public high school in my district. I think it has a nurturing environment.

I think this schol is an average school. It is alot beter than going to the public school in my area, but i fell that the teachers in public school are better. In this school i feel like my parents are paying for the environment and not the actual teachers. The teachers dont teach very well. The reason kids get such high grades in this school is because if you want to pass your forced to open a book and learn for yourself. The teachers teach and give alot of assignments that you dont even understand how to do because its not even what they taught you. I have spent hours trying to figure out how to do something that was in the hw and have to research the topic on the internet or in text books. It's very stress full when you have 2 tests everyday and lots of hw.

Kennedy Catholic is everything a high school should be. The administration and teachers are fair and just. Respect and honesty are shown by the students, staff, faculty, administration and coaches. As a former teacher, I find the faculty to be above average in both education and commitment. Unlike many of the elite area public schools, there is a true desire by the educators and administration for every student to learn from the exceptional to the struggling. Faculty stay after school consistently to help those requiring more personalized instruction. Every opportunity to learn is extended to every student. This school represents what it truly means to be Christian.

We are trying to figure out the benefit of staying at KCHS. Having just completed our second year we are trying to justify staying. The quality of teachers and the courses offered are sub-standard compared to the surrounding Westchester public schools. We have to continually re-teach certain subjects to help our children understand what the teacher should have explained.

This school would be so much better if administration wasn't afraid to intervene with its teachers'. At Kennedy, less than appropriate instructors remain because they've always been there.
