I graduated from Pine Valley, almost didn't because the principal at the time told me " I was not wourth the tuition". The school is great, IF your parent is a teacher, or a coach. Other than that, a kid is nothing. Most of the teachers there are born and raised in the close surrounding areas. My high school years were unpleasent, as there are bullys in ever school, here they are also the staff. NOT ALL STAFF, but many. I know for a fact that I am not the only alumni that feels this way. A local restraunt used to cater the schools lunches, till they found out the restraunt was hiring what they thought were bad kids. Everyone deserves a chance maybe even a second. A lot of the kids i went to school with were convinced to drop out. Now they have no chance.
Pine Valley is a school district that always goes way and above what is asked and expected. Staff, students and community come together through difficulties in amazing and caring ways.
I think its a great school! The sport coachs and the teachers really work together. If you don't do the school work or home work then you can't play in the game or at pratice!
