Great school, my first daughter attended from 1st thru 5th, my 2nd daughter is currently in 2nd grade here. I graduated from South Glens Falls school system and moved back to area so my kids could also.
Tangelwood is a wonderful school! Tanglewood is home away from home. The teachers at Tangelwood go above and beyond what they need to do. I am a cancer survivor and when I was sick the school was wonderful with my child. Every teacher makes sure that the chidlren at Tangelwood are happy children and become lifetime learners. I can't say enough wonderful things about the school. I teach in a school district nearby. Although I also love the school district that I teach in but I feel that Tangelwood is a step above. Thank you for considering Tangelwood!
The teachers at Tanglewood are excellent and the principal and his staff are very personable and helpful. You do not get the feeling your kid is just another number, despite the school's size. This school also has good arts/music programming and some extra-curricular sports as well (soccer, baseball, softball, cheer).
