I don't know where the first poster got their information, but he/she must not have had children in the same LPCS I know and love. The teachers, all staff, administration and school board have such an obvious love for this school that permeates into each student. The level of education is comparable to private or prep school. Not only is 'No Child Left Behind', every student is encouraged to excel! My children have gone on to other, larger schools at almost a grade level above average -- with writing, speaking and technology skills that rival many colleges!

Region appropriate limited education. Narrow focus on meeting childrens needs for the future, fails to prepare children for life beyond the small town politics/social structure. Faculty leadership strongly uncooperative with parents/students concerns. Prime example of ego getting in the way of education, misused tax dollars, and responsible for lack of econimic growth in surrounding community.
