Hempstead is an amazing school. The teachers are wonderful and so dedicated to each and every student. My daughter is finishing up 6th grade and going onto middle school next year, and will really miss Hempstead. As a parent I can honestly say my daughter is well prepared for the future and has the knowledge and confidence to do anything she puts her mind to. For this I will always appreciate the education she received at Hempstead.

Hempstead is great school, everybody is so nice in there, it's a very warm environment and I feel that my kids are safe when they are at school and for me as a parent that's very important. I have 3 children they go to hempstead and I just wish they could stay there until they're done with school that how much I love hemsptead.

this school is ok. my daughter was kicked out of the school when she was in second grade due to slight behavior problems in class. they had an ultimatum. I ended up putting her in St. Augustine in New City. Besides that Hempstead gave her a good education and the teachers were excellent with her. As for as the administration Im not so sure about.

Hempstead is a good school. My sons excelled in this school. The teachers encourage parent participation. The only downfall is the elementary schools don't have athletic teams for children to participate in.

Hempstead is an extremely warm and nurturing place. The children receive a tremendous amount of exposure to topics beyond the traditional thoroughdistrict programs and visitors who share their time. Like all individuals the teachers vary in their dedication and involvement but for the most part they do a good job.
