St. Aloysius Regional School

My child transferred to St Aloyisus from a public school and we absolutely LOVE it! The staff is AMAZING and the children are so respectful and well behaved. Teachers are always available for both parents and students. They are truly concerned about EACH child. No teacher-unions to get in the way of learning. Financially, St. Al's does well. There is a lot of community, parent, and student support. The school runs efficiently-without a lot of wasteful spending seen in many public districts. Yes, public schools have a lot of "fancy" things that may be cosmetically appealing, but what St Al's offers is so much more. Good wholesome values with high educational standards. Each child's learning style, educational performance and personal needs are addressed and monitored to ensure that each child reaches his/her full potential.

Like any review, you must consider the source(s). A teacher giving a great review to their current employer is expected. What is the alternative - openly criticize the people who sign your paycheck? Bottom line: St Al's is barely hanging on, most likely closing it's doors in the next year or two. When your best advertising campaign is 'financial aid available' that tells you all you need to know about the academics. "St Al's is having a sale" - please fire the person who thought of that stellar slogan. Will the last person out the door please turn off the lights.

I would recommend St. Aloysius Regional to anyone. Within a couple weeks of starting here I felt included by the staff and found the parents to be very cooperative. Having both observed and taught classes here, I can assure you that the students get a high quality education here. The standards are high but the amount of help the teachers are willing to give is incredibly high as well. The students are more respectful and they care about each other. Excellent place to work!

Being a parent that has experienced Public school growing up and currently working within them; I see first hand how they operate. I have found that St. Al's is a quality educated school that has students and parent envolvement at heart. I have never seen so many parents involvment as I do at St. Al's. It has been mentioned about having 'clicks'- here is what I have to say about that; 'Clicks' are an 'assumed' division of personalities where you either fit in or not - who cares. Everyone should work together because it is for the betterment of the school for the children. There is year round tireless creativity, devotion and planning that goes on that all are strongly encouraged to attend as one group. If there are those that feel 'out of the click' - you have developed your own because everybody is encouraged to participate in all activities all the time.

St. Aloysius Regional School is terrific. All teachers are state certified and care about the children. It is an environment that promotes courtesy, respect, values, discipline and accountability. It does a great job of preparing children for high school and beyond. I attended public elementary and high school and am utterly amazed at how the older children embrace and look after the younger students. There does not seem to be as much of the picking on as there was in public school. I absolutely love it and it was the best decision I have made sending my children there.

Excellent school where students are provided individual attention by caring, supportive teachers who are fully engaged in the education of our children. The school not only teaches NYS curriculum, it also teaches morals, values and service to others. I would highly recommend this to any family interested in providing a strong foundation for their child. The school is open to any denomination and tours are available. Come and see what we are all about.

This school has prepared my child for high school which he is where he will be off to next year. The additional attention is great and it is a wonderful school in need of new students! Please, if you are looking for a school for your child, make St. Aloysius Regional School in Springville, NY your first choice!

It is a school where image is everything. An I feel I am unable to express myself . However the school will always have a special place in my heart. With it's loving teachers and religion influence on us all.So I say this St.Als is an awsome school.

This is a great school! It has a warm, family-like atmosphere. The teachers are experienced, caring, and dedicated. My children receive a lot of individualized attention; they learn the same nys curriculum as public school but in a much better learning atmosphere. In addition to a superb academic program the school instills moral values and the importance of caring for others into our children. I would reccommend this school to anyone. You should come check it out!

This school has a great reputation howvever as a new parent I have mixed feelings about it. There seems to be an inside network that is specific to parishoners and long time alumni. As a brand new parent I didn't feel completely welcome to the atmosphere and spent a large majority of the school year feeling left out. I also am not so very clear as to the amount of educational content that my child is fully retaining. Compared to our previous public school this school lacks some things to be desired.
