A small school but a great one. Some extra curriculur activities but very good ones. Excellent teachers and staff.
Although this school is small it offers some of the most outstanding and dedicated teachers you will ever find. The atmosphere encourages the students to become involved and offers unique activities larger schools cannot such as the outdoor learning program recently started. As a parent of a student and a former student I would recommend this school to anyone. With the small class sizes it is easier for one on one with teacher and students and everyone is given a chance to participate in sports and activities. The only drawback to this school is the lack of interest and help by many of the parents who look to blame the school for their lack of interest in their child's education.
The school in Saint Regis Falls does not give all benifiets to the student. Bullying is a big problem. Availablity of sports is limited. Softball, Baseball, Basketball, and soccer. Music is ok but needs new instruments. I am a parent of an active chilld at the school.
The staff cares about the students. There are a few teachers who stay afterschool almost everyday to offer their time to students. The music program has improved this past year.
-few extracurricular activities --minimal exposure to music and art --low quality academics --low parent involvement
