Great staff. Kids get personal attention. Small setting. Excellent curriculum. No one falls through the cracks here.
The New Principal has made this Little Red Schoolhouse a wonderful place to work. The children, parents and staff are truly a happy family and the school is thriving with its new motto "Respect, Responsibility, Rigor".
My boys went to this school from k-5 and they both loved the little red scchoolhouse in Travis
Although there are problems with parents and teachers with the principal, P.S. 26 is a good little school. Because of it's small size the children don't get 'lost'. My son got an excellent education there and was fortunate to have committed, caring, and skilled teachers. He has gone on to achieve Honors in one of the best high schools in the city and I believe he got a good foundation at 26.
It is a wonderful small school, full of charm, but the principal has ruined the morale. I have placed my child in private school because of her.
This would be a wonderful school but for the principal. We are all afraid to speak up. Something has to be done, but everyone is afraid.
