this school is the best school ever.the teachers are oh so nice and we are psyched about the new principal's arrival in 2011! I adore the guidance counselors and I shall be depressed when our old principal leaves.

I am truly disappointed with the school as a whole. I am grateful for the few individuals who cared enough to help my daughter. The amount of propaganda Notre Dame spits out with regards to the quality of education is disheartening. Social skills are not developed either. The Ophelia Project is a joke. I would not send any of my other daughters to this school. As a whole, I consider the entire time my daughter was enrolled a waste of my hard earned money.

It is really nice to know that the administration and teachers genuinely care about the students. My daughter is a senior and has been supported in so many ways through very difficult circumstances. The caring and concern of the adminstration and staff has been wonderful. This alone has made this an excellent education for my daughter who will graduate this year.

This school is too small for me in my opinion. There isn't that much of a variety of people to meet...but it depends on the girl and her personality. I guess mine is just too weird and diverse. The majority of the girls are most definitely nice. I've come across a few snobs, but hey, those are almost everywhere..You just have to learn to ignore them and be nice. Most of the teachers are good and are always willing to help. When you take the TACHS test, this school will accept if you get an 80 or above with them as 1st or 2nd choice on your list of 3 private High Schools. One of the reasons i chose to go here is because it is not strict as far as dress code. You can wear nail polish, jewelry, dye your hair, etc. But anyways, I'm transferring, just felt like reviewing.

Notre Dame has both a grade k-8 and an independant high school next door. The high school still requires you to test into it and is competitive! However the grade school is premium in its education and involvment with students and parents. Families are highly involved at this school. It is a relatively small school where most everyone knows eachother on a first name basis. It does offer sports involvment in grade school however it is pretty limited as far as competition. The high school has many more resources. It is a top of the line education....oh and its girls only!

Graduated from here and many of my NDA classmates have done very well for themselves. It's a beautiful campus and such a scenic setting for a high school. I was very well-prepared academically for college, though I have mixed feelings about sending my own child to an all-girls school, because as a result it's also a bit of a sheltered, pretend-world environment. Some say NDA has a snobby reputation but that wasn't my experience. Some were but there were many nice girls from middle-class families who sacrificed went there. If you are really tight on money, though, don't disregard the extra fees for this and that.
