I had a truly wonderful experience at this school. I graduated years ago and still look back at my time here fondly. The teachers were excellent. I have learned so much from each of them. I could tell that they really cared about what they were teaching and about their students. I met some of my best friends at this school, and I know that they are friendships that will last a lifetime. I felt a great sense of community at St. Christopher's.

I really love the education my children are receiving at St. Christopher's. This school is family oriented and definitely all about the education of its students. The entire school is using technology to enhance learning. My youngest is using online websites in school and then completing assignments on them at home. My eldest has a gmail account monitored by the teacher where assignments are created on googledocs and shared with other students to help one another. The atmosphere of the school is happy no matter what time of the day you walk in. I love this school.

As a staff member, I can tell you it is a warm and caring place to send your child, and from a parents perspective I can tell you that I chose to send my four children here. They received an excellent education. I couldn't have made a better decision. Choosing a school for your child is one of the most important decisions you can make. St. Christophers school provides the perfect foundation to grow, to learn, and to make lasting friendships.

As a professional educator who works for the Department of Education and travels from Brooklyn once a week to coach an after school activity, I can truly say that St.Christopher's School is a amazing place with a culture of learning and kindness embodied in all of it's students, teachers, and Principal. Having observed and worked at other Parochial and Department of Education schools, this school leads the way in providing services and personalized attention to students and their families. If I was a parent I would definitely send my child here.

I feel so fortunate to be a teacher at St. Christopher's. It is like no other school out there. Our pastor, Fr. Joe, and our principal, Mrs. Falabella, have created a family environment where all care for and support each other. The children in our school are greeted with a smile by our principal each morning. We have an extremely caring and hard-working teaching staff. The kids are at the heart of everything we do, and we strive to give them every opportunity to succeed, learn, and grow. I love that the school updated the security system this year. A monitor in the office allows the staff to view all entrances to the building. What's more important than having peace of mind when you drop your children off at school? I highly recommend this great place to be to any family looking for a Catholic school.

My daughter attends the UPK program at St. Christopher's. I am really impressed by the level of care for my child. I am very happy with her teachers and principal. My daughter is particularly happy about the free Nucci's lunch that is offered everyday. I would recommend this school.

I have been employed here for several years. It is an absolutely wonderful place to be everyday. Everyone in our school is truly a pleasure to work with. We are all like family here. Our students are very loved and are each cared for like our own. I'm fortunate to be able to work in such a great environment.

SCS is a absolutely wonderful school. The principal, teachers, and other staff are all dedicated to the children and make it a terrific and safe learning environment for the children. The UPK program is a wonderful addition to the school. It gives preschool age children the opportunity to flourish in very well organized classrooms with nurturing teachers and aides. SCS is a great school that I would highly recommend.

I am very happy with the education that my daughter is receiving at St. Christopher's School. I have a nephew the same age as my daughter and he isn't receiving the same education in his school. Mrs. Falabella has such a wonderful staff that goes above and beyond to help you and your child. I can happily say my daughter enjoys going to school every day. I would highly recommend this school if you want your child to learn in a wonderful loving enviroment.

I am the proud aunt of a kindergarten student. I am absolutely thrilled and amazed as to what my nephew is learning. I love the staff and Mrs. Falabella. She treats each and every child as if they were her own and always has a smile on her face. I love how she stands outside each morning greeting each child as they arrive at school. When it is time to go home she greets the parents and makes sure the children safely get out the school gate to them. St. Christopher Day is one of my favorites. It is wonderful to see everyone gathered as one big family having fun and enjoying the carnival style activities. There are always many activities and special events where school pride is greatly exhibited. My nephew is so excited to be joining the karate program next year run by Mr. S. I have observed the program and the children are learning to be respectful, responsible and courteous toward others. They also meet with a nutritionist and learn about healthy eating habits. I am extremely impressed with St. Christopher ' s and highly recommend sending your children here.

My children have been attending this school for three years. I have seen great teachers and horrible teachers that should not be handling children. The staff it depends who you deal with and how their day is going. If you are looking to put your child in this school do yourself a favor and try to do a surprise tour so you can really see what goes on in there. I have witnessed the principal yell at teachers as well as children in a manner that should not be done in elementary school. If you dont belong to this parish and you are not alumni good luck. I wouldnt have even gave one star from what i have seen.

We have both of our children enrolled at St. Christopher's school & travel 30 mins each way to get them there...that is how much we love this school! The principal, Mrs. Falabella was the key to us choosing SCS. She is very nurturing, not only to her students, but also to the parents. Her wonderful, unique laugh is contagious! Mrs. Falabella provides a clean, safe, and wholesome environment, and she truly does not tolerate bullying! She knows the names of all her students & can often be found greeting them upon arrival in the morning, as well as making sure they are dismissed safely. Mrs. Falabella has put together a team of skilled teachers who provide the students with a high level of academic curriculum. Also, her administrative staff is very friendly & helpful. In addition, the children have a wonderful spiritual leader, Father Joe. The entire SCS community is always willing to help out a member in time of need. This community is very caring & giving. There is a real sense of "Family" at SCS. Our children look forward to going to school each morning & have made such nice friends & so have we. I highly recommend St. Christopher's school!

I am so happy that I decided to send my little one to the UPK program in st. Christophers. Everyday, there was a thought out, hands on experience related to the lessons ready for my child to explore. I enjoyed seeing all of the creative work my child participated in. The staff had pictures ready to show parents what their children are capable of in school. I recommend this school to all of my family and friends.

This is the good news of our school:Friendship Day was celebrated by 55 UPK students and 24 fifth-graders at St. Christopher's School. The fifth grade students selected to participate were chosen for their ability to aid their younger peers.UPK students learned from their upper class friends about the shared values of caring for others, and crafted "friendship quilts" to symbolize their new alliances. Using construction paper, crayons, glue, and craft material, friendship quilts were bonded together to represent the family unit within the school. "I like coloring and having a picnic in the gym, and I like my new friend Sophia too," said four-year-old Madison Marchano, as she looked up from playing a game.

I have a child in the UPK program & love this school! The teachers are wonderful & caring. My daughter has excelled in all areas & simply loves the themed learning. The teachers are the best! The principal is always around the school and you can tell she loves "her" kids. I would highly recommend this school and UPK program.

I am a new member of the staff at St. Christopher's School in the UPK program. I have worked at 2 other parochial schools prior to this. I was immediately warmly welcomed by the teachers and staff at this school. I have witnessed the teachers and staff working together for the betterment of children. The high priority of the health and safety of the children and staff has truly been impressed upon me. The UPK program here promotes social/emotional skills beyond compare. I have seen the children blossom from curious preschoolers to inquisitive kindergarden ready students. My only regret is that my own children did not have the opportunity to attend this school.

My son loves attending school at St Christopher's. The full day UPK program has the most nurturing and caring teachers. They go above and beyond for both the students and their families. They hosted many events to include us in our son's learning. He always talks about how much he enjoys the free lunch provided by Nucci's. I am so happy to see how much he looks forward to going to school everyday.

I have transferred my kids into St Christopher's and I can honestly say it has been a wonderful experience. I have come from a catholic school up bringing and my experience at the other school was extremely unsettling. Entering St Chris I have gained a family and as I did not attend this school as a child as my mother had I had no real connection until I meet with Mrs. Falabella . Every morning you are greeted by the principle and all the faculty makes it a point to know you and your child. If you have a problem you know you will be able to work it out together, My family had heavy involvement in the school and church and now I am proud to say my kids have the same nurturing environment to grow up in as there grandmother spoke about. We are blessed to be apart of this family.

I have had the worse experience imaginable at this school. If you want your child to be a kid instead of a robot definitely don't send them here. They have a great front until they have your money. All they care about is getting the tuition. They also endlessly ask for money and donations. I transferred my son to another catholic school in the area and he is excelling instead of being bored and going backwards.

My son went to St. Christopher's since preschool and just recently graduated. He received a wonderful education and the teachers really made him strive to be the best he could be. The principal and pastor are always coming up with ideas to improve the children's education and environment. You become a part of a family when you attend this school and I can tell you that the bond will never break no matter where you are or how old you get.

I sent both my boys to St. Christophers School. One is entering college in the fall on a full scholarship and my youngest is attending the highschool of his choice, even though he made all highschools he applied to. St Christopher is exactly what a catholic school should represent. Excellent education, leadership, teachers and a family environment we all miss! Their students and families come first!

Fourteen years ago, when my oldest of four started PK my husband and I looked at various schools in the neighborhood. We attended open houses for (3) catholic and (1) public school to get an understanding of their differences. St. Christopher's School was our choice based on student scores, faculty and an immediate sense of a strong community and pride which was demonstrated. They use their talent wisely. Top students are commended on a personal level. However all children feel they have a special gift to offer. I do not know of any school on Staten Island who can demonstrate the kindness you receive from this small school. Our teachers and faculty use an inspiring tactic to reach students. Not only is Fr. Joe walking the corridors during school hours to speak to the children, he attends all events including cheering on home basketball games on a Saturday afternoon. Two of my children have graduated. They were accepted to all three choices placed on their TACH's exams with honors. It is with great pride that I recommend touring our school to better understand what I have put down on paper.

I have two children who attend this school. The principal, faculty and staff are so dedicated to the students. The UPK program is outstanding! This school may be a smaller school, but it offers so much. My children love using Smart Boards in their classrooms. My seventh grader really looks forward to Club Wednesdays which is offered to grades 5 and up. I suggest checking this school out!

St. Christopher's is a great school. The teacher's are wonderful, they truly care about the children and their education. This is very rare in today's society. They children are well educated and very respectful. Our Principle is great she really cares about the children and our school. She goes well beyond the call of duty. She knows every child by name and their progress. Our school is a close knit school and the children would go out of their way to help another. It's very welcoming.

St. Christopher's has a renewed energy under the leadership of the new principal and pastor. Parents are getting more involved and volunteering their time to help keep costs under control. The teachers are very dedicated and are strong at every grade level. The modest size of the classes (25) makes it easy for students to participate in class activities.

I have a 1st and 6th grader, both have attended since PreK and we couldn't be more pleased. Our children are getting an excellent education in a small, warm enviornment. Our principal is the best....approachable, innovative, energetic, and constantly striving to embellish our children's education. I am confident that our children are being well prepared for the best life has to offer.
