I had just moved from New York City and wanted to find the best pre- k school for my daughter. I had visited most of the schools in the area and found that the attitude was not so welcoming. I truly believe if you are treated in a disrespectful way, then they will treat your child in the same manner. After reviewing all the schools, Trinity Lutheran was the best option because of not only the way I was treated, but for many other wonder reasons. My daughter started in Pre_K3 and now in Kindergarden. I have to say that I am so happy and very impressed with the way they have educated my child. Even though she is in Kindegarden, her education level is already at first grade. The teachers are in creditable, patient, easy to talk to and seem to care a lot for their students. I love the way they keep me updated on what is going on with my child in class. The principal, Ms. Davis is a wonderful and caring person. She is always at the front door in the mornings greeting the students. I am very happy with the school and looking forward to next year. Any one who is looking for a school that really cares, Trinity Lutheran School should be your choice.

All I can say about this school is that the teachers are extremely dedicated to their work. I was pleased with most of the teachers while we were there. I was not however happy when the former principal retired and was replaced with the current principal. I was quite turned off by her when I caught her in a lie. I also found the office to be a very unfriendly place. This was unfortunate since the teachers are wonderful. Academically it is a good school and the right place for certain children.

Trinity Lutheran provides a great academics program. However, it disappoints with its' after-school program. The cost of after-school is extremely high and there is no structure. All the children are grouped together for several hours. Younger students should be separated from the older ones and activities of interest provided. Instead, all that is offered is movie watching. I am truly disappointed in the after-school program. I sincerely hope a change will be made immediately.

What can I say about Trinity Lutheran, I'm very pleased with this school. My daughter will be starting her 5th year there. The academics, the teachers and the principal; everything is great. The principal Ms. Renee Davis was her 1st grade teacher and she is a wonderful, devoted, considerate, compassionate and simply awesome individual. She's not only a great principal but she's a wonderful person. Both the school and the present principal were highly recommendated. I am very happy I took the recommendation from one of my sisters at my church. Even though there are other schools that are good and/or free, my daughter is very happy with Trinity Lutheran and has no interest in changing. Anyone looking for a Christian school with great academics, family orientated atmosphere and a awesome principal Trinity Lutheran is your school.

As a former student (graduate) this school was the best place for me to got to. I learned discipline and made lifelong friends here. The work is advanced. Its easy to understand work because the teacher is able to give you there full attention because the classes are very small. Trinity is like a second family to me and they always try to get the best out of you. They have a great basketball team!

Trinity was truely the best school on Staten Island. As a former student (and graduate), it was a place to grow, make lots of friends, learn and have fun. All my experiences there were the best moments of my life!
