I do not give it a great rating my child deals with bullies and other disruptions as well in his class setting!!! It can improve on a better social situation.

So far so good, my son is in PreK 3 and he loves his teacher, and he comes out of school happy. And tells me about what he did in class. This the beginning for me at this school, I will update as I go along.

I am graduating SCS this summer and I must comment on how appalling the entire system is! it is shocking that I made graduation without giving up! I personally found the teaching the worst of all! With the exception of about four teachers, the rest do not seem as determined, focused, and/or dedicated on teaching and reaching out to the students to improve their knowledge. I also find the new principal quite irritating! I thought she would improve the school, not destroy its former reputation of being 'the #1 school on SI'.Parents of future SCS students/graduates, I wish you luck!

We couldn't be happier. Great school with wonderful, caring teachers. Very academically challenging.

Good teachers for the most part. However, much work to be done at home. School bags are way, way too heavy for the students. All the textbooks should not be coming home every night. This is a major problem.

For the most part, caring teachers and wonderful leadership with Ms. Bushman. Lots of parental involvement and extracurricular activities.

New Principal will hopefully modernize the academics more. Offering a language would be nice. Children are in PreK and Kindergarten and happy so far.

Academics are mediocre. The science art and music programs are few and far between. Parents are encouraged to be involved

This school is horrible. My child said that the teachers did not even try to help him understand what they were learning.

Community ratings and reviews do not represent the views of GreatSchools nor does GreatSchools check their accuracy or verify the reviewers' identities. Use your discretion when evaluating these reviews.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
