I went there for a job interview and spent the day to see how I fit in. I wanted to leave after 5 minutes and cry. The conditions are horrible. The children were miserable and most of them are stuck there from 7am to 7pm.... Lunch was horribly made macaroni and cheese. The materials were old broken and dangerous. The staff members are tired and over worked because as I was told they don't allow you to take off because there is no one to replace you or sub.
Perfect combination between academics and social play. Very responsive and caring staff. Nice structure to the program. They do a wonderful job with the kids and are amazing at what they get them to learn.
Homey and cozy place. they offer wonderful programs integrating education and fun so that kids really learn wel.. They are very helpful in all areas of child care and development. They have a wonderful relationship with the parents and the children adn are very warm. They are really clean and very concerned about the child's well being and hygeiene.
Winderful school with great, caring people. The staff does a great job with all the kids. They come home clean and ahppy. they always answer any questions I have. they helped through the initial guilt of being a working mom and they made and my kids feel really wanted. I love the place and think any parent making this choice would be happy -- it is clean and bright and they make you feel very welcome.
I found this school through a recommedation of a parent that I became friendly with at aonther day care center my children previously attended. Thank goddness she was kind enough to refer this facility to me. The difference in care and education is unbelievable. They take the task assigned to them so seriously. It is wonderful to see how caring and clean and safe they are. I love the work I see them doing. I think the staff is outstanding and quite professional. They are open minded and respectful of opinions and questions. The director is extremely caring and works with you on every level. The security of facility is reassuring and I do not see it as lock down, but rather protection. They have an open door poilcy for parents and I have dropped in unannounced many times. I have even helped out in the classroom.
I certainly would not recommend this school. My child was miserable there & I spent way too much time & energy attempting to solve issues amicably. All I got was lip service. When I finally did run for the hills, I was sorry I had waited so long. There was zero communication regarding progress or problems. The place is under complete lockdown & they are extremely secretive about what goes on inside. I managed to get past the doorway a few times only to be abruptly stopped. In short, my advice to parents is to do yourself & more importantly, your children a favor & avoid this place!
Oakdale is truly unique program. It has the qualities of a private school offering great education while it has the convenience of day care with long hours and low holiday dates. It provides my children with a safe and nurturing environment where they have learned and flourished with great strides. To my amazement they fly out of my arms in the morning and run to their teachers happily waving good by. The staff there has helped me with my parenting skills and has offered much support to me when needed. the administration is very responsive to my needs and is happy to comply with any requests made. I am happy to have found such a clean safe and caring space. I look forward to many continued years of growth and happiness.
This school offers wonderful opportunities for learning and growing. My children started as infants and continued on through. They have a very good reading program and will really please you with how accelerated an approach they have to reading and math. They have really nice on site programs offering the kids a fun way to learn and just things for fun. I realy like these programs because with having the guests come to the school it is much safer than sending on a bus for a school trip. My kids come home happy and clean and they are so advanced for their age.
My kids love going here. They have been here for 3 years now. The staff is wonderful and program design far exceeded my expectations. I am thrilled to have found them.
