Profile Completeness

INTERMEDIATE

Want to improve this school’s profile? You can!

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.

AMAZING!!! The opportunities that they gave my son allowed him to grow, not just educationally, but as an adult person. The staff is very warm and friendly and they REALLY care about all of their students. My son has graduated from this fine school and still, returns to say hello to the teachers and staff that made SUCH an impression on him. if you are looking for the BESt for your "extra special" student, then look no further than this school.

Amazing school...with 5 stars for the teachers and therapists....As a parent considering different options their bulletin board is in the lobby displaying all the data the Department of Education website does not have. My neighbors son went there in a wheelchair and diapers at the age of 11...less than one year he is walking and toilet trained...It is Hungerford for me and my child!!!!

P.S. 721 is a caring, creative, courageous place...a place where kids struggle against tremendous odds and dedicated, well-trained administrators, teachers, paras, staff, and therapists are with them every step of the way. They coach, prod, help, love, and of course teach these special children every minute of every day. I have two precious daughters who attend this wonderful school, and I have seen them grow by leaps and bounds into a fuller, happier life. The Hungerford school is an A+ operation from top to bottom! My husband and I thank them from the bottom ofour hearts!

The work this school does with there wonderful children is amazing. If any school deserves to win it is this one. They could use the money to help fund the work programs, the beautiful gardens the children plant and so much more. This is a truly wonderful school.

PS 721R is a Blue Ribbon School that serves the needs of disabled children from ages 11-21. Our school is very special due to the inpack we provide for all of our students. Our Community out reach is amazing and we are well known for sending our children to work release programs. We would so greatly benifit to win this amazing contest. we are a non profit orgazination that relies on our fundraising effort to provide our school with programs, equipment, senior activities, and much more needed through out the school year. Our Principal Dr. Mary McInerney is incharge of Seven (7) sites. Each one Running with profection, It is wonderful and very impressive to see her attend each site and address each child by name, interact with her staff in a professional way but yet; like family. She has a wonderful repore with her Parents/Guardians as well. Vote for 721, we appericate your dedication! A Strong Voice, Is a Heard Voice!

P721R serves the needs of disabled students from across the boro of Staten Island, it is an amazing school. Our Principal Dr Mary McInerny is a truly wonderful and caring person who runs 7 sites with very little money. This money would go so far in securing programs and equipment for our students. Our student population ranges in age from 11 to 21, with disabilities that include autism, developmently disabled, multiply handicapped, mentally challenged and much more. Each and every student is treated with respect and challenged to accomplish everything to the best of their individual abilities. Vote for 721!!!!!!
