It is clear to see when I drop my children off each morning, the children in the gym or in the yard are kind to one another, always willing to help each other. They raise money for the local food shelter, they collect pjs and books for the less fortunate children, socks for the homeless, they are aware and are taught responsibility, honesty and integrity.
The teachers are wonderful at this school, they go the extra mile every day for our children, they all give their free time the after school programs, sports and drama, they are the students coaches in the classroom and out of the classroom. They make themselves available to us the parents every day.
The school is overcrowded: 27-30 students in a classroom. I looked up all of the teachers and the new principal Ms. Olivera in the NYS certified teacher locator and... none of them was located. The students in grades 6 and up are fascinated by the Hip Hop culture: they use bad language and inappropriate hand gestures. The parents are also very strange, there are no playdates among the children and everybody seems to keep to themselves. I regret that I transferred by child there and will be leaving at the end of the school year.
St. Peter St. Paul is a wonderful school. My 3 kids attend this school and they are thriving. The teachers here really care about educating children and encourage them to participate in different school activities. I'm so glad I made the decision to bring my kids to this school.!!
Ms.Anunnziata trys her best to mkae the school good and people appreciate it. but she ignores certain facts and problems bought to her by students and parents and she will not expand the school to make it funnier for children. but she is trying her best. i wish her luck.
