My children have been attending St. Lucy's since pre -k. Back then the school was great--teachers, activities and academics as well. Since there is a new principal, the school has turned upside down. The school is more concerned about financial needs than the care, well being and educational success of the students. This is such a shame, since as parents, we do not have many choices around we feel as if it is better to stick with what we know than take our chances and placing our children in public school. With all the catholic schools that are closing they should be able to house more students which would in turn raise funds so why are they cutting back on academic success?
