Cathedral Academy at Pompei is a multicultural school with 50% refugees from Sudan whose families are seeking better lives for themselves and a Christian education for their children while they are becoming American Citizens. It is so rewarding to help them learn the English Language and develop a good self-confidence. Tje most rewarding part is when the skills and concepts begin to click for them. They make my day every day. I also help many Afro-Americans gain self-confidence and success in learning. There are also five Kindergarteners and six Third Graders who need to be challenged so they don't become bored become behavior problems. Thus, I do Enrichment Classes with them.
