While this school is a good school for the most part, it is not an exceptional school. The scores for the 4th grade tests look good, but are misleading when you take into account the great number of children retained in the third grade. There are a few exceptional teachers in this school who are willing to do what is needed for children who may need more than average teaching skills, but there are not enough. My children fall into two categories; those who do well on their own and work hard to get good grades, and those who need dedicated teachers to help them do well. This school is fine for the ones who do not need extra help, but does very poorly at first with those requiring more services. The school is reluctant to support parents, but may support teachers, even if the teachers are wrong.
