I have found that many of the teachers are totally dedicated to the kids and are willing to go the extra mile for their students. They are involved in after school clubs and special events. Sadly, there are also teachers at RPES that do nothing beyond their contract. Don't know why there isn't more pressure placed on them by the administration. Guess as long as they are meeting the contract they can get away with it. Hope my children don't get those teachers! I regularly see violations of school codes of conduct. They are not addressed. Even simple issues like dress code. Do we want to enforce it or not? If not, why do we publish it?

I have 2 daughters that attend now, and another that will start kindergarten this september. The teachers are great, they are always available to talk to, they have great communication with me. As well as the principal, she's always there to talk to if there happens to be an issue, and even if she's not, she gets back to you promptly.
